Bekbolot Talgarbekov, who was convicted for attempt to forcibly seize power, was released from prison. His son Arstan Talgarbekov informed 24-kg.com news agency.
According to him, earlier Alamedin District Court made a decision on his release on parole. Bekbolot Talgarbekov was released from prison on March 7.
In May 2016, the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan opened a criminal case against members of the People’s Parliament.
Bekbolot Talgarbekov and Tolubai Kolubaev were sentenced to 14 years in prison with serving the sentence in a colony with reinforced regime, Marat Sultanov — to ten years, Toigonbek Kalmatov — to five years (suspended sentence), Alexander Gusev — to six years (suspended sentence).
