At least 3,294 religious organizations are registered in Kyrgyzstan as of today. It was announced at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to official data, 20 associations have been recognized as extremist and banned.
In total, Kyrgyzstan has 2,269 mosques, one synagogue and 233 Orthodox churches.
