An employee of the Consular Department met with citizens of Kyrgyzstan detained in Croatia, who are suspected of transporting illegal migrants. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Consul of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Austria met with the Kyrgyzstanis, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Croatia, regional court and the district prison of Karlovac city, where the detainees are kept.
«The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic is in constant contact with the Croatian competent authorities, relatives and a lawyer of the detained citizens, and also keeps this issue under special control,» the diplomatic mission concluded.
