According to it, Kyrgyzstan transferred to Turkey the right to host the IV World Nomad Games on the condition that they will include three sports: kok boru, er enish and kyrgyz kurosh.
«But none of them are in the program of the Games. Kok boru is present only as an exhibition game. Does it make sense to go to WNG after that?» kokboru_kg asks.
«Transportation of horses to Turkey will cost $300,000. The organizers did not provide a place for kok boru, the teams were gathered for the sake of appearance. I was required to sign documents, but when the situation in the country is like this, students and civil servants collect money for Batken, I could not do this and decided to leave my post. We can host the Kyrgyz-Kazakh games for such money,» Aibek Azhygulov said.
The IV World Nomad Games will be held from September 29 to October 2 in Iznik town on the coast of the lake of the same name. It is 125 kilometers from Istanbul. More than 3,000 athletes from 102 countries are expected to take part in them.
