The Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan arrived in Belarus. According to the head of the Department of International Military Cooperation of the Defense Ministry of Belarus, Valery Revenko, Baktybek Bekbolotov arrived on a working visit, TASS reports.
Valery Revenko reported that in mid-January Bekbolotov and the Defense Minister of Belarus Viktor Khrenin discussed a number of issues of bilateral relations by phone and agreed to meet in person in the near future.
The agenda of the meeting has not yet been announced.
This year Belarus is chairing the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Its participants, in addition to Kyrgyzstan, are Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
