Bishkek to host Japanese Spring Music Festival

Bishkek will host a chamber music festival as part of the Japanese Spring International Festival on April 14-16. Its organizers reported.

Musicians from Japan will perform on the stage of the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall — the duet of Makoto Yoshida (clarinet) and Ryutaro Suzuki (piano), Forte Trio from Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan will be represented by a quartet led by Ernis Asanaliev.

The program of the festival will include works by Western European, Japanese, Kyrgyz and Kazakh composers.

Admission is free.
