Last Bell ceremony to take place in Kyrgyzstan on May 25

Last Bell ceremony in the schools of Kyrgyzstan will be held on May 25 at 9 a.m. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

The Minister Kanybek Imanaliev issued an order to ensure an organized completion of the school year in general educational institutions of the republic, to protect the life and health of schoolchildren during the ceremony.

Heads of educational institutions of the country, regardless of their form of ownership, are prohibited from collecting money and other fees for holding the ceremony and organizing other events with the participation of graduates and their parents.

Responsibility for ensuring security measures during the Last Bell ceremony rests with the heads of educational organizations.

Heads of city departments of education in Bishkek and Osh, heads of district and city departments of education were instructed to:

Organize round-the-clock duty of responsible employees;
Hold meetings to inform parents of their responsibility for the life and health of students during celebrations held outside the territory of the educational organization.

«Disciplinary measures will be taken for non-execution of the order by the heads of educational institutions up to and including dismissal from their positions,» the Ministry of Education added.
