Two kilograms of hashish found in Osh resident's car

A man was detained in Kara-Suu district of Osh region with two kilograms of drugs. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported.

The substance, wrapped in a black plastic bag, was found under the front passenger seat of the car of a 44-year-old resident of Osh.

A forensic chemical examination showed that the detected and seized substance weighing 1,936.7 grams is hashish. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 «Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for the purpose of sale» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The suspect was taken into custody for two months. Additional investigative measures are underway.
