State Duma deputies from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) have submitted to the Chamber a bill that would oblige to expel migrants from Russia for violation of a number of articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The document was included in the electronic database of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The authors propose to make amendments, according to which foreigners or stateless persons will be expelled from Russia for violation of the state border regime, as well as the regime at the border checkpoints, work in Russia on illegal grounds, violation of immigration rules, failure to comply with restrictions on certain types of activities and violation of the deadline for applying for a license.
According to the current legislation, violation of the aforementioned articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Russia entails imposition of a fine with or without possible administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation.
