The women’s team of Kyrgyzstan won the Asian Half Marathon Championship in the UAE. The Yakut media outlet YASIA reported.

The Asian Half Marathon Team Championship (21.1 kilometers) ended in Dubai on November 11.

The national team of Kyrgyzstan was represented by four athletes: Sardana Trofimova (final result 1 hour 14 minutes 44 seconds), Gulshanoi Satarova (1:15:18), Maria Korobitskaya (1:15:42) and Ainuska Kalil kyzy (1:16:07).

In team competitions, the three best results of athletes from each country were taken into account. The Kyrgyzstan’s team took the first place and won gold medals. The team of Uzbekistan took the second place, and India — the third.
