Manas epic presented at International Festival in Uzbekistan

The Eurasian Creative Week (XIII ECW) Festival is held from June 22 to June 29 in the city of Khiva, Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, at which Kyrgyz writers Bubuira Bektenova and Nargisa Karasartova presented Manas epic. The organizers of the event reported.

«The Manas epic is the most significant example of the culture of Kyrgyzstan, perhaps the longest epic poem in the world. Manas was presented in Khorezm region, bringing its unique energy to cultural exchange. The epic is a magnificent example of the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, and we are proud that, as part of Eurasian Creative Week, we were able to present this rich historical and literary masterpiece on the international stage,» the festival organizer Marat Akhmedzhanov noted.

The Eurasian Creative Week Festival has already been visited by more than 100 representatives of the business and cultural community from various countries, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, the USA, Great Britain, India, Belarus, Finland, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Israel.
