Director of Chui-Tokmok Education Department was detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security for taking bribes from the heads of educational institutions. The press service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

The director of the Education Department extorted money under the pretext of conducting inspections and audits in educational institutions.
