Cabinet Chairman reviews progress of construction projects in Kochkor district

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev reviewed the progress of several construction projects in Kochkor district as part of his working visit to Naryn region. The Cabinet’s press service reported.

Adylbek Kasymaliev first visited a bus station under construction, which occupies 1.5 hectares. The project is funded by the republican budget with an allocation of 395,579 million soms. Currently, foundation-laying work is underway.

The Cabinet Chairman then inspected the progress on Lenin Street, which is 9.5 kilometers long and 24 meters wide, and on Sheraliev Street, 2.2 kilometers long and 10.5 meters wide. The roadworks include widening, asphalt paving, and demolition of certain structures.

In parallel, a project is being developed to asphalt 39 streets with a total length of 13 kilometers. Additionally, repair works are ongoing on Naryn—Baetov highway, the length of which is 84 −120 kilometers.

Adylbek Kasymaliev was also shown the repair and reconstruction works on the asphalt-concrete pavement of the airfield, including the runway, taxiways, and parking zones. Upon completion, the airport is expected to offer improved passenger conditions and enable the resumption of domestic flights.

After reviewing the sites, the Cabinet Chairman instructed relevant government agencies and construction companies to pay special attention to construction quality and ensure that all projects are completed on time.
