President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ihlas Holding JSC (Turkey) Ahmet Mücahid Ören. The presidential press service reported.
The parties discussed implementation of joint projects in the energy sector with the participation of Turkish investment companies. Particular attention was paid to the development of green energy, construction of large hydropower facilities and strengthening of business ties between the countries.
Recall, following the state visit of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan on November 5, 2024, a framework agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy and Central Asian Investment Holding OJSC on the implementation of a project for the construction and operation of hydroelectric power plants.
Then, in order to implement projects in the republic, Ihlas Holding JSC established Central Asian Investment Holding OJSC.
The issue of implementing the project on construction of HPP-2 in Bishkek was also discussed. Sadyr Japarov emphasized that a significant improvement in the environmental situation in the capital is expected after the commissioning of the new heating and power plant in 2028.
Ahmet Mücahid Ören confirmed the company’s readiness to begin implementing the designated projects. He especially noted that the company positions itself as a domestic investor acting in strict accordance with national interests. He added that all steps taken are aimed at creating sustainable and long-term value for the state and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the end of the meeting, the head of state proposed developing cooperation in the field of personnel training, advanced training of specialists and exchange of experience. He emphasized that such interaction will bring mutual benefit and contribute to the successful implementation of joint projects.
