President meets with Justice Minister Ayaz Bayetov on debureaucratization issues

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Minister of Justice in the rank of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ayaz Bayetov.

According to the press service of the head of state, measures to implement the decree on debureaucratization of public administration were discussed.

Ayaz Bayetov reported on the first results of the work of the specialized commission, which has already held two meetings, and also presented information on the measures being implemented and key areas of reform.

Sadyr Japarov emphasized the exceptional importance of the steps taken to reduce excessive bureaucracy, which prevents both citizens and government agencies from promptly and effectively implementing important projects.

The state apparatus must be effective, compact and capable of promptly responding to the challenges of the time.

«We have to act faster, make timely and balanced decisions. The cumbersome and inert mechanisms of the past no longer meet the requirements of the modern day,» he noted.

The President instructed to accelerate the pace of work and strengthen interdepartmental coordination, noting that debureaucratization should affect all levels of government. He also gave a number of specific instructions on further steps to implement reforms in this area.
