Fraudster who sold 17 other people's cars detained in Bishkek

A fraudster who sold 17 other people’s cars has been detained in Bishkek. The Department of Internal Affairs of Leninsky district reported.

A citizen A.R. had previously filed a complaint with the police, requesting action against a man named B.N. According to the man, B.N. gained his trust and, under the pretense of renting them out, received 17 Honda Fit vehicles. However, B.N. later sold all the cars and disappeared without a trace.

A criminal case was initiated under Article 209, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (fraud on an especially large scale).

The suspect has been found and detained by law enforcement officers. The investigation is ongoing.
