Over the past ten years, Kyrgyzstan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed 40 agreements on public investment projects worth a total of $369.09 million.
Of this amount, about 62 percent are loans, and 38 percent are grants.
At the same time, 41 percent of funds from the total investment volume are directed to financing of 24 water supply projects. At least 32 percent of funds were invested in transport infrastructure, and 16 percent — in energy industry.
Two of the largest projects concern the reconstruction of Issyk-Kul ring road ($52 million) and the Green Cities program for Bishkek ($33 million).
