The Last Bell ceremony marking the end of the 2024/25 school year will take place on May 26 at 9 a.m. in all general education institutions, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan announced.
School administrators will be responsible for ensuring safety during the Last Bell ceremony.
The ministry has strictly prohibited the collection of money and the organization of any additional events for graduates and their parents.
Responsible employees of the Bishkek City Hall Education Department, the Osh Education Department, as well as district and city education departments will organize a 24-hour duty.
Meetings with the participation of parents will be held to inform them of their responsibility for the safety of students during events outside of educational institutions.
Additionally, the use of flammable or dangerous fireworks, hazardous technical equipment, and environmentally harmful helium balloons is prohibited during the festivities.
