A case of issuing fake diplomas to students, who did not study at the educational institution, has been revealed in Talas region. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
According to its data, the prosecutor’s office of Aitmatov district of Talas region found out that 14 students who were outside of Kyrgyzstan and did not actually study at the vocational lyceum No. 13 named after Ch. Tuloberdiev, located in the district, were given exam grades and illegally issued diplomas in the relevant specialties.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code (abuse of office). An investigation is underway.
