Construction of a new Batken eco-city will soon begin in Batken region, at the foot of Aigul-Too mountain. The First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the region Baktybek Toksonbaev told on the air of UTRK Batken TV channel.
The project will cover 800 hectares and will be designed for 100,000 residents.
This new city will become an example of sustainable development and a modern approach to urban development, combining innovative technologies with environmental standards. The project provides for the creation of modern and environmentally friendly facilities focused on the convenience and quality of life of future residents.
Among the key facilities of Batken City are a Philharmonic Hall for 2,000 spectators, a museum, a wedding palace, as well as shopping and entertainment centers. It is planned to build new residential areas and local administration buildings. Solar panels will be installed on all buildings, and renewable energy sources will be widely used.
In addition, the project includes the installation of treatment facilities, bicycle paths and parks, landscaping of the territory. A modern sports complex will be built to improve the sports infrastructure. Modern hospitals and educational institutions will also appear in the city, and electric buses will become the main form of public transport.
