Former Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Jamilya Isaeva commented on her resignation to 24-kg.com news agency. According to her, the decision to leave the post is not related to political reasons and was made solely on her personal initiative.
«I decided to leave the post of my own free will. My participation in political activities will continue — I remain a deputy from Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan faction,» Isaeva noted.
At the moment, it is unknown who will fill the vacant position of vice speaker, Jamilya Isaeva said.
According to her, the factions will nominate their candidates to participate in the elections. Isaeva added that the name of a possible candidate may be announced on Wednesday.
