Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Checheybayev together with Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntayev discussed a project on construction of a new 550-bed hospital complex on the territory of the Issyk-Kul Regional Combined Hospital.
According to the press center of the Ministry of Health, the key aspects of the project were considered during the meeting, including architectural and infrastructural solutions, potential sources of financing and tentative terms of implementation. Special attention was paid to the issues of compliance of the future medical facility with modern healthcare standards, digital transformation and sustainable construction principles.
The project is aimed at significantly expanding the capacity of the region’s healthcare system and improving the population’s access to quality medical services.
