An 8-month-old lioness was discovered during a raid at the home of a resident of Kyzyl-Meenet village, Kara-Suu district, Osh region. The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The raid was conducted by inspectors of the Osh Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service of the ministry together with employees of the Osh-Batken Society of Hunters and Fishermen and employees of the State Service on Drug Control for Osh and Osh region.
The man was fined 20,000 soms, and the lioness was temporarily placed in the Osh city zoo.
