A new eco-friendly plant for processing solid household waste is planned for construction in the city of Osh. The project is being implemented by the Chinese company Hunan Junxin.
According to the project, the facility will be capable of processing up to 2,000 tons of waste per day and generating up to 50 megawatts of electricity.
The plant is expected to improve the supply of heat and hot water in Osh during the winter months, improve the city’s environmental conditions, and create new jobs.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited the proposed construction site, where they discussed technical details and project logistics.
Previously, the Mayor of Osh visited China’s Hunan Province, where he familiarized himself with the operations of the Chinese company and signed a framework cooperation agreement.
