At a session of the Parliament, deputies voted to dismiss Askat Sydykov from his position as a judge of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan ahead of schedule.
Almasbek Abytov, the Permanent Representative of the President and Cabinet of Ministers in Parliament, stated that the Council of Judges imposed a disciplinary sanction in the form of early dismissal for his violation of the requirements of impeccability.
MP Iskhak Masaliev reminded that in March the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyev, was reprimanded for collecting money from local judges.
