The 5th Anniversary Festival of International Ballet Stars will take place at the A. Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in Bishkek. The Ministry of Culture’s press service reported.
The festival will feature leading performers who work in both classical and contemporary styles of global ballet art.
The two-day cultural program includes:
- May 23 —Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s world-renowned ballet «Swan Lake»
- May 24 — a gala concert with participation of guest ballet dancers from various countries, which will mark the conclusion of the festival.
Renowned ballet dancers from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Japan, and Russia will participate in the festival, showcasing a high level of artistry in ballet.
The main goals of the festival are to promote the development of ballet in Kyrgyzstan, strengthen international cultural ties, and facilitate the exchange of experience with world ballet stars invited to perform on the Kyrgyz stage.
