Drip irrigation of 500 hectares of land planned in Batken region

A large project for drip irrigation of 500 hectares of land is planned to be implemented in the village of Kyzyl-Bel in Batken region. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The project provides for the laying of a 13.4-kilometer water pipe from the main canal in Batken. It is planned to build a reservoir with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters.

The total cost of the project is 177.5 million soms. Completion of the work is scheduled for November 2026.
