ENT specialists from Kyrgyzstan’s National Center upgrade skills in Moscow

Otolaryngologists from the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare have successfully completed advanced training in Moscow. The center reported on Facebook.

According to the medical institution, the doctors were able to complete a full course of practical and theoretical training thanks to financial support from Qatar.

«For several years, our doctors, together with doctors from Qatar, have been performing high-tech inner ear surgeries — so-called cochlear implantations — for children with severe hearing impairments. More than 200 successful operations have already been carried out. In the future, Kyrgyz specialists plan to perform such surgeries independently,» the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare stated.

It was reported earlier that surgeries for children with hearing problems in Kyrgyzstan will continue: visit of Qatari doctors is scheduled for November 2025.
