Mass wedding held for 25 couples in Batken

A wedding event for 25 couples, titled «The Foundation of the State is the Family», was held in Batken, the office of the Presidential Envoy to region reported.

The event was organized jointly by the presidential representative’s office in Batken region, local authorities, and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth.

First, a wedding ceremony (nikah) was held for the newlyweds in the central mosque. This was followed by a wedding celebration and cultural events.

Local officials, sponsors, and relatives attended the celebration, where the 25 couples selected from across Batken region received congratulations, gifts, and certificates.
