Head of Issyk-Kul district Zhaparbek Ormonov has been detained. The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek confirmed the information to 24-kg.com news agency.
The head of the district was taken into custody until September 4. He is accused of corruption committed in the interests of an organized group, a criminal community, or causing serious harm.
Recall, Zhaparbek Ormonov was appointed head of the state administration of Issyk-Kul district in August 2023.
