Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan Boobek Azhikeev has been awarded the high military rank of Lieutenant General, the presidential press service reported.
President Sadyr Japarov signed the corresponding decree.
Boobek Azhikeev has headed the Ministry of Emergency Situations since February 2021.
