About 155 hectares of Issyk-Kul shoreline cleaned up

A large-scale community clean-up was held in Issyk-Kul region on August 20, during which around 155 hectares of shoreline were cleared. The press service of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the region reported.

According to the information, about 3,000 employees from 253 agencies and organizations took part in the clean-up.

The campaign was aimed at preserving the natural uniqueness and ecological condition of Kyrgyzstan’s «pearl» — Issyk-Kul Lake.
