The qualifying matches for the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup kicked off in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Football Union reported.
In their opening match, the Kyrgyzstan’s U23 national team defeated Palestine 2:1.
On September 6, the team will play against Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyzstan is competing in Group E alongside Uzbekistan, Palestine, and Sri Lanka.
The final stage of the AFC U23 Asian Cup will take place in January 2026 in Saudi Arabia.
