Russian President Vladimir Putin invited CIS leaders to St. Petersburg for an informal meeting, RT reported.
Vladimir Putin noted that he would be «very happy» to see them in the northern capital for the traditional end-of-year meeting.
«I would be very happy to see you in Russia... on the eve of the New Year,» he said at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.
