President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree dismissing Bolotbek Borbiev from his post as Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago, USA. The presidential press service reported.
Bolotbek Borbiev is the brother of renowned singer Bek Borbiev. He was appointed Consul General in April 2022. According to reports, he is considering running in the 2025 parliamentary elections from Toktogul electoral district.
