Asan uulu Omurbek won a silver medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships, currently underway in Novi Sad, Serbia. The UWW website says.
In the 61-kilogram weight class, the Kyrgyz athlete lost to Jaxen Patrick Forrest from the United States 12-17 in the final.
Earlier, Asan uulu Omurbek defeated representatives of China, Bulgaria, Albania, and Turkey with a combined score 47-3.
