President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening ceremony of the sports arena after a major reconstruction. The presidential press service reported.
The head of state proposed giving the facility a new symbolic name — Zhashtyk.
The sports complex has a capacity of 5,000 spectators and is located in Pervomaysky district of Bishkek.
The total floor area of the building is 15,342 square meters. It is a three-story structure with a basement.
