Asian Cup qualifiers (U17): Kyrgyzstan defeats Laos

The U17 national football team of Kyrgyzstan has secured its first victory in the Asian Cup qualifying round, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) reported on social media.

The Kyrgyz team faced their peers from Laos and won 3:2.

This is the team’s second win in the current qualifying round. Earlier, Kyrgyzstan defeated Guam 9:0, but lost to Yemen (0:2) and Pakistan (1:3), having lost chances of advancing to the final stage of the AFC U17 Asian Cup.

Following the defeats, the Kyrgyz Football Union dismissed the team’s head coach, Alexander Bauer from Austria.
