The WAKO World Kickboxing Championships were held in Abu Dhabi. The Kickboxing Federation of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Kyrgyz team won three gold and one bronze medal.
Akhror Rozbaev (up to 60 kg, Low Kick), Khodjiakbar Kambarov (up to 51 kg, Low Kick), and Takhir Marasulov (Kick Light, Veterans) became world champions.
Nurbek Valizhonov took third place in the Full Contact category (up to 91 kg).
More than 1,600 athletes from 85 countries reportedly participated in the tournament.
