Vladimir Putin presented with komuz in Kyrgyzstan

Russian President Vladimir Putin was presented with a komuz during his state visit to Kyrgyzstan, journalist Pavel Zarubin reported in the program «Moscow. Kremlin. Putin.»

He said that the Russian leader, in an informal setting together with CSTO heads of state, visited the Enesai yurt, where distinguished guests were shown the process of making a komuz.

«He wanted to buy this one, I know,» commented Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko when the Russian politician was shown the national musical instrument prepared as a gift.

The heads of state were also shown how to play the komuz. Vladimir Putin picked up the instrument to try playing a few chords.
