Roadside area in Kara-Balta to be upgraded: Construction Ministry shows sketches

A relevant department under the Ministry of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan has developed a project to improve a roadside area in the northern part of Kara-Balta.

According to the ministry’s press service, the project covers a section of Kozhomberdiev Street between Zhaiyl Baatyr and Krylov streets.

The plans include the construction of public transport stops, pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as the installation of lighting poles. The project also provides for the placement of small architectural forms, landscaping of the area, and the organization of parking spaces.

The Ministry of Construction also intends to introduce a unified design code for buildings located along the road.
