Fire at mosque in Bishkek extinguished

A fire at a mosque located in the village of Alamedin in Sverdlovsky district of Bishkek has been completely extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to preliminary information, the fire was reported this morning. Two fire crews and the staff of Fire and Rescue Unit No. 3 from the capital’s Sverdlovsky district were called in to extinguish it at 11:16 a.m.

The fire covered approximately 150 square meters. A man, 32, sustained a minor injury to his arm. The circumstances and cause of the fire are being investigated.
