Kurak film wins three awards at film festival in France

The film Kurak won three awards at the 32nd International Asian Film Festival in Vesoul, France. The Cinema Development Fund reported.

According to the Fund, the film won the Grand Prix of the International Jury, the Critics’ Prize, and the Lyceen Jury Prize.

The event in Vesoul was organized by the Association of the International Asian Film Festival. The association’s goal is to promote Asian cinema and the city through the festival.

The film was created to give a voice to women whose stories remain unanswered. The creators of Kurak hope that the film will serve not only as an artistic statement but also as a call for change in our society.
