SDPK parliamentary faction intends to get rid of its active member, former press secretary of the president Zhanar Akaev. Own sources in the parliament reported to 24-kg.com news agency.
According to them, an emergency meeting of the SDPK political council is going to be held today. The agenda includes one question: the expulsion of Zhanar Akaev from the ranks of the party.
Zhanar Akaev told journalists that he had never been a member of the party and that he couldn’t be deprived of his party membership card.
«He passed from this party to the Parliament in 2015 on a quota and supported youth branch in the south of the country. It’s impossible to deprive him of the mandate. According to the Constitution and regulations, a deputy can only voluntarily resign," sources said.
