Car mechanic dies at Kumtor mine

A car mechanic died at Kumtor gold mine in Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union Eldar Tadzhibaev informed 24-kg.com news agency.

The accident occurred the day before. A 29-year-old heavy equipment mechanic of the enterprise reportedly got under the wheels of a heavy truck.

A commission has been set up. The State Inspectorate for Technical and Ecological Safety finds out causes of the accident.
