The power engineers of Kyrgyzstan are working to eliminate breakdowns due to the night heavy snowfall. The head of the National Energy Holding Aibek Kaliev said today at a press conference.
According to him, due to heavy snowfall and a gusting wind, dozens of feeders throughout the country disconnected. «Gusts of wind reached 15-30 meters per second. All power services are engaged in the elimination of the breakdowns. Fallen trees broke the wires,» Aibek Kaliev told.
He added that the Energy Holding held a conference call with all regions of the republic. The situation is under control.
