The deputies supported the renaming of Chui Avenue in Bishkek. The decision was made today without discussion at a regular session of the Bishkek Сity Сouncil.
Recall, officials offered to rename:
a) Shabdan Baatyr Street — from Chui Avenue to the southern border of Bishkek — into 7 April Street;
b) Part of Chui Avenue — from Auezov Street to Kurmanjan Datka Street — into Shabdan Baatyr Avenue.
The proposal of MP Kanatbek Muzuraliyev to discuss this issue in detail remained without attention.
The readers of 24-kg.com news agency opposed the renaming of Chui Avenue.
